Though nature is often my muse, I am inspired by people and the things they create.

Trying to make metal look and perhaps feel soft seems to be a thing with me. It probably has something to do with my love of textiles. Silk cords wound by hand and the soft lustre of pearls seem a natural compliment to metal.

I am happiest when my work appears to have happened quite naturally, and can be worn with little fuss.

My friend Gillian once said, “This necklace looks like it washed up on a beach!” I think that was a compliment?

Making things seems like magic to me.
